Personalised Bracelets for Men, Engraved Into the Metal

The personalised bracelet is the wrist piece that carries a name. A child's name on an ID bar. A wedding date on the back. A coordinate pointing to a birthplace, a home, a place that mattered once. Monrich personalised bracelets laser-cut the engraving into 18K gold PVD plated stainless steel before the plating process runs — the text sits inside the metal, sealed under the gold layer, and reads sharp years after most surface-engraved pieces have worn through. The setting is permanent. The bracelet is built for daily wear in any condition.

ID Bars, Engraveable Cuban Links, Oval Plates

The personalised range covers the engraveable bracelet shapes. The ID bar — a horizontal plate (10–15mm wide × 30–40mm long) on a Cuban or curb chain, the most-engraved bracelet shape in men's jewellery since the early 1900s. The engraveable Cuban link — a wider central link in the middle of a Cuban bracelet, sized for initials or short text. The oval plate — softer profile than the ID bar, fits 6–12 characters cleanly. Each shape carries 18K gold PVD plating over surgical-grade stainless steel, with engraving cut into the metal before plating runs.

Engraving Inside the Metal, Not Onto the Plating

The cheap personalised bracelet market engraves the text onto the plating layer after the bracelet is finished — the laser scratches a line through the gold surface and into the base metal below. The text reads sharp on day one but wears through within months as the plating around the engraved channel lifts at the edges. Monrich uses pre-plating engraving: the bracelet is engraved while bare metal, then the PVD process runs over the engraved surface. The plating fills into the channels and seals them. The text becomes part of the protected metal rather than a wound through the surface.

For Birthday, Anniversary, Father's Day, Self

The personalised bracelet is the most-gifted piece at Monrich for occasions that matter — birthdays, anniversaries, Father's Day, the birth of a child. The combination of name plus date plus permanent engraving reads as a considered gift, not an off-the-shelf one. Pair the personalised bracelet with a matching personalised pendant or personalised signet ring for a built personalised set. For non-personalised bracelet options, see all bracelets.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

What can I engrave?
Name (up to 14 characters on ID bars), initials, date, coordinates (lat/long), short message. Add text in the engraving field at checkout. Standard and script fonts available.
Will the engraving wear off?
No. Engraving is laser-cut into bare metal before plating, then sealed under the PVD layer. The text sits inside the metal, protected by the 18K gold layer above. Stays sharp for the life of the bracelet.
How long does engraving take?
Standard engraving adds 2–3 working days to dispatch. Express engraving available at checkout for next-day dispatch.
Can I engrave both sides?
Yes on flat ID bars and plate styles. Front-and-back engraving available at checkout — typically name on front, date or coordinates on back.
What styles take engraving?
ID bar (horizontal plate, the most-engraved shape), Cuban link with engraveable centre plate, oval plate, rectangular tag. Beaded and leather bracelets do not take engraving — see the metal-bracelet engraving options instead.
What size should I order?
Most personalised bracelets are adjustable 18–22cm. For non-adjustable ID bars, measure your wrist with a tape, add 1.5cm for fit. Average male wrist is 19–20cm.
